Privacy Policy
Detailed guidelines on how we collect, handle, process, and protect your personal data across the AvinyaSQ website and services.
1. Who we are
This website, www.avinyasq.com, is operated by AvinyaSQ Technologies Private Limited (“AvinyaSQ”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in India with its registered office at 235, Binnamangala, 2nd Floor, 13th Cross, 2nd Stage, Indiranagar, Bengaluru 560038, Karnataka, India.
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, AvinyaSQ is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website. For visitors from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, AvinyaSQ is the data controller.
2. What we collect
We collect personal data in two ways.
Information you give us. When you request a demo, a product brief, a consultation call or a brochure, or contact us through a form on this site, we collect the details you enter: name, work email address, organisation, role, and any message you write. We do not ask for payment details, and nothing is sold through this website.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard technical information about the visit: IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages viewed, the site or search that referred you, and the time of the visit. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how long for, and how visitors move and click on a page, including heatmaps and anonymised session recordings. This information is used to keep the site secure and to improve it. It is not used to identify you personally, and text you type into forms is masked in session recordings.
[CONFIRM] Microsoft Clarity must be configured to mask form inputs and other sensitive text, so the masking statement above is true. Geega to confirm the setting.
3. Why we use it
We use the information you give us to respond to your request, to arrange the demo, call or briefing you asked for, and to send you the brief or brochure you requested. Where you have asked to hear from us, or where we have a legitimate business reason to follow up on a request you made, we may contact you about AvinyaSQ products and services related to your request. You can ask us to stop at any time by writing to the address in section 9.
We use automatically collected information to operate and secure the website, to identify misuse, and to produce aggregate statistics about how the site is used.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Legal basis
For visitors in India, we process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, and for the specific purpose you submitted it for, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For visitors in the EEA or UK, we process form submissions on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our products, and technical data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
5. How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your request, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case the information is kept under the terms of that agreement. Technical logs are kept for 90 days. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics providers named in section 2, and no longer than 26 months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
7. Who we share it with
Your information is handled by AvinyaSQ staff who need it to respond to you. It is stored with our website hosting provider and, for form submissions, delivered to us by email. These providers process the information on our behalf and under our instructions. We do not share personal data with any other third party except where the law requires it, for example in response to a lawful request from a court or government authority, or where necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
The site is hosted by Hostinger, and analytics are provided by Google and Microsoft. These providers may store data on servers outside India, including in the European Union and the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside India, or outside the EEA or UK, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer and take steps to ensure the data remains protected to the standard described in this policy.
8. Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or updated, to have it deleted, and to withdraw consent you have given. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, write to the contact in section 9. We will respond within the time required by law.
If you are in India and are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.
9. Contact and grievance officer
For any question about this policy or about your personal data, contact:
[CONFIRM] Legal review: DPDP rules may require the grievance officer to be named. Keeping the role title only for now, as decided.
